BadAsh Cosplay

BadAsh Cosplay is a Kansas cosplayer with 15+ years of experience in the convention scene. Starting out in high school with her grandmother making her first cosplay, BadAsh has elevated herself in learning to make her own cosplays. She especially loves cosplay contests and has earned 30+ cosplay awards throughout the Midwest. She has skills in sewing, foam-smithing, pattern-making, resin-casting, item re-purposing, prop-making, wig-styling, 3-D printing, imagining her own designs, and she never stops experimenting with new cosplay skills and materials.

In the “real world,” BadAsh is a math teacher, and her love of teaching bleeds over into her love of cosplaying, making her presence both family-friendly and educationally fun. Teaching cosplay is a natural placement for BadAsh, which makes her a great asset to any cosplay event!

No good cosplayer is without support; alongside BadAsh is her husband, “Ninja,” who assists her during conventions, photoshoots, contests, etc, and occasionally joins the fun in his own cosplays. BadAsh also has a strong interest and knowledge base in photoshoots, convention panels, workshops, organizing contests, and probably a bunch of other cool nerdy stuff. From anime, video games, comics, and TV shows, BadAsh loves it all in cosplay!
